The phenomenon of Patrol CG Viber group

I have long heard about the famous Viber group Patrol CG, but last night I saw the group from the inside for the first time.

This morning’s number – 61,661 members! Every tenth Montenegrin is a member of this group!

From yesterday at 06:00 to this morning at 06:00, in a period of 24 hours, I counted about 450 messages – every last one is a report by a member of the group that he saw a certain type of militia at a certain location (traffic patrols, other patrols, inspectors, known civilian vehicles). Something incredible, how any uniformed police unit anywhere in the country just moves – this was announced within a few minutes by someone on the group.

A unique example of cooperation and coordination of Montenegrins, when they unite around a common goal – a huge number of active members, everyone writes when they see the authorities, although no one has personal and immediate benefit from their own tip – there is an awareness of the permanent, collective good of the community. Montenegrins are incredible when they come together to fight against a common enemy, be it Mahmut Pasha or a speeding ticket;

Now I understand why this group was publicly mentioned by the head of the traffic militia at the state level – I can think how frustrating this consequence of globalization and the information revolution is – this group is blowing them up, and they can’t do anything about it, they can only adjust their tactics as much as possible, by quickly changing locations, camouflaging on the side of the road, etc.
