They need to be rounded up and made a thorough example of. Straight up multiple murder. The whole country should be up in arms about this its beyond disgusting.
This couple were being terrorised – I wonder how deep an investigation was done into the previous arson / damage to their property? Seems the criminals had no fear.
Drug related crime is out of control. And yes, “recreational” cocaine use is also part of the problem – a lot of people like to whitewash (literally) this type of drug use as somehow bypassing all the usual sordid channels along the drugs supply chain. It’s all the one chain.
Absolutely devastating to think what happened this family, and that they had been looking for help.
I guarantee you these fucking idiots that did this had no concept they could kill a whole family. Even hardened criminals know that the shit is gonna hit the fan, the state can’t be seen to allow this to happen. Someone is going away for a long time, and hopefully even the puppet masters too.
We need to bring in full life sentencing. The people responsible for this need to be behind prison walls for the entirety of their stinking lives.
I (we) had a similar problem a few years ago. My “brother” went off the rails unknown to us and owed big money to dealers across 2 counties. When we finally twigged it and tried to get him into a treatment centre he told us about the nefarious cunts who might come looking for payment.
As I was the only male in the family, I had to go into the worst places to pay off the debts he owed.
It really opened my eyes to see the underbelly of society that exists under our noses.
People will be aghast when the truth comes out about what has been happening in Waterford as regards drug dealing, the main family behind it, and what lead to the killing of these people. This didn’t come out of the blue.
PULL THE RUG OUT FROM UNDER ILLEGAL DRUG TRADING!!
There’s open drug dealing on O’Connell bridge all day every day.
If they won’t police that, what can we expect.

This is so frustrating.
I went through the exact same thing.
My car set on fire, then my elderly parents car set on fire.
Cooperated with the Gardai for months, family members all handed phones to the Gardai for investigation into threats we were receiving. We know they were just trying to find something incriminating about my family so they could justify not bringing the guy responsible to justice however, we’re a squeaky clean family all in full time employment.
A few months later they did my new car and poured the petrol all over my door so my house also caught fire.
The Gaurds were absolutely useless. We wanted more resources on the case so we asked to treat the case as attempted murder (it wasn’t a crazy ask because in recent times someone in the news had set a wheely bin on fire and leaned it against someone’s house and the guy got done for attempted murder) but my suggestion was laughed at.
This could have been us, it was a terrible time for everyone in the family.
So. What happened ?
Did one of the kids owe a drug debt. Or the parents.
It really makes a difference.
If it was the kids. Then they are standard stupid kids.
If it is the parents??!
Some local brain dead ‘gangsters’ got some little shithead ‘roadmen’ who probably talk with east London accents thinking they’re in an episode of Top Boy to carry out this disgusting deed.
