Scientists are working on artificial wombs and placentas to help very premature babies, born around 22 weeks, survive and grow better.
How can we ensure the safety and ethics of using artificial wombs and placentas to help premature babies?
This will be great for pro-life conservative states that like to prohibit abortion. Those wanting an abortion can instead opt to have the baby removed and placed into one of these artificial wombs. And then the state can pay to keep the baby alive. I wonder how much they’d like that?
