Here’s a really crazy idea, like maybe I’m completely insane and just let me know if you think I should be locked up… but ok here we go… what if we just said “no you fucking don’t”

Now this is how you decarbonise the energy sector.
Sod throwing orange paint around and sitting in the road.
Buy them, load them up with debt, then sell and watch it fail.
This will do more damage to gas than a million activists sitting in the road.

I mean they are due some competency right?
We must be a laughing stock. Anything like water or energy needs to be nationalised. It’s too sensitive to be in the hands of vultures

How about not allowing our critical infrastructure to be owned by foreign nationals.

Going from 80% to 100% isn’t taking control, it already took control.
The deal would have to have been stopped at its inception when it was agreed that Macquarie could continue buying up 20% tranches.

Remember folks, Australians really dislike other people owning their infrastructure, but they’re happy to scoop up ours. They haven’t even privatised their water and sewage, and their power network is majority state owned. They don’t want to buy UK products or services, and won’t let us buy their infrastructure, so we really shouldn’t be selling them ours.

Starmer needs to renationalise all our vital industries and infrastructure. We know that privatisation just leads to expensive failures that the taxpayer ends up paying for, figuratively and literally. We might as well cut out the middle man and just bring them in house before the billionaires have a chance to gut these companies.

Genius. Fuck the voracious capitalism we have in this country. It’s worse here than in the US.

Key infrastructure like this should be a national security issue and therefore should be nationalised.
Now we have a half functioning government again I’d like to see them do that once they’re done with the private schools.

Fine them into bankruptcy and then prosecute the board and strip them of any bonuses. Would be nice but very unlikely to happen.

What a fucking embarrassment this country is. No wonder this country keeps digging itself into more shit, got fucking monkey clapping cymbal brain dead politicians running this country with their poncy fucking accents.

Just sell the entire country to foreign nations at this point. Fucking pointless having a country called UK when we own fucking nothing in our own country. Sell it to China or Russia, I’m sure they’ll be interested in buying the NHS, the Army.

At this point I wouldn’t expect anything less. It’s like watching a old Monty Python sketch were I can’t help but get amusingly lost in it. Well done, it’s an entertaining slow motion train wreck.
