      Bristol been taking Ls ever since Noel Edmonds drove a disused London bus through the bus lanes

      These signs would be better off black cars on a white circle with a red border (a ‘prohibitive’ instruction), much the same as the sign for ‘no motor vehicles’. Making them blue is a ‘positive instruction’ according to the Department for Transport. Perhaps there should be both?
