Domestic violence against women is the most commonly reported crime in Britain by far.
1.4 million women a year will report domestic abuse, and that figure is most likely grossly underreported.
It’s a secret shame among our native Brits.
British men need to do better.
That’s awful that they ignored this for so long. It’s getting harder and harder to get hold of the police it seems.
And the solution? We’ll stop advertising the phone number
I would bet not a small sum that someone set this up as a promotion idea but didn’t actually tell the relevant department who was responsible and then moved on up the ladder so it wasn’t their problem anymore.
