He’s such a pathetic child, you’d think he’d have better things to do than sit around trolling. No wonder his many of his kids hate him.

    2. I mean sharing an outrages tweet from a politician is Reddit 101 isn’t it? 😂

    3. Freebornaiden on

Is Musk was any kind of man he’d challenge Starmer to a best of 3 scissors, paper, stone dual and have done with it.

    4. Tartan_Samurai on

Good to see that despite all his bitching and moaning about it, he’s actually a huge fan of cancel culture and gleefully participates it when it suits him

    5. Oh Dear the Abusive, neglectful billionaire has a vague opinion! Maybe be should look to his own house, and his legal woes

Musk is such a hypocritical snowflake. Claims he’s a free speech advocate but bans people for anything he considers offensive, eg he stated ‘”weird” is a slur being used against republicans and it will not be tolerated on X’, likewise saying ‘cisgender’ is considered a slur and gets you community noted and in cases gets you banned.

I always remember how in the run up to the Brexit referendum, Barack Obama came to the UK and warned us against it. The right wingers went into overdrive saying ‘how dare he tell us what to do, he’s not British’ yet the same people stay quiet when Elon Musk, again not a citizen of the UK and has little to no knowledge of the UK, sticks his nose in this business which has nothing to do with him.

    8. Dependent_Good_1676 on

Why are people so rattled by Musk shitposting? People clearly haven’t learned their lesson and put too much stock in twitter

    9. Imaginary-Risk on

Busiest man in the world and he still manages to tweet 18h a day from his toilet

What’s that line spoken by Alfred to Bruce Wayne in”The dark knight”?

Bruce is trying to understand or unpick the motivation behind the jokers seemingly unquenchable appetite for anarchy , chaos and destruction..

Alfred suggests Bruce has pushed his adversaries into the clutches of a dangerous lunatic in desperation to push back against him and goes on to recount an anecdote from his time in Burma working alongside the Burmese government of the day underscoring his point.. conceding..

“Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money”.
“They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn and roll around in the ashes.”

Not suggesting there’s a parallel necessarily . aspects of a certain social media personalities behavior point to a lack of personal responsibility or understanding re the gravity and implications of intemperate words or language – especially during an already delicate or difficult situation.

Certain social platforms have turned themselves into Chinese finger traps of a sort, trapping some in a algorithmically constructed echo chamber of unremitting material designed to gaslight, reinforce prejudice , frighten and provoke.

They’ve motorized conspiracy theories, hatred, ignorance etc. More needs to be done to regulate social media. A balance of free speech protections+ an expectation of personal responsibility + proportionate consequences when things stray into incitement or criminality etc

How many years ago was it when that guy didn’t like Musk’s mini-submarine, so he publicly called him something you should never call anyone – when they aren’t one, and this guy wasn’t – especially when you have an army of millions of drones that believe everything you say?

How anyone is surprised by anything he has said or done since and how anyone has had any time for him or buys or uses his products since then amazes me. A truly foul man.

    12. joeythemouse on

The UK government subdidises his shit car company to about £1m a week.

He can go and fuck himself.

    13. GrainsofArcadia on

I’m not gonna lie, seeing the world’s richest man beef with the PM over X has been pretty assuming.

    14. What happened to Elon for him to change from such wonderful potential and such an lgbt ally into such the monumental disappointment that he had become.

    15. NegotiationNext9159 on

Honestly I can’t see any other outcome for Elon other than a complete online meltdown at some point, he’s getting increasingly petty and almost seems to trying to bait action against Twitter by advertisers and governments.

Possibly when Trump loses, or someone finally legislates some actual standard of moderation on social media. Scary thing is how much influence he has over a large platform. We’ve seen a small taste of what social media can unleash this week, I don’t look forward to seeing that but bigger if Musk decides to use it to lash out.

    16. Do people still use Twitter other that journalists, politicians and fucking nut jobs?

    17. lefttillldeath on

Genuinely why is he allowed to carry on?

Why hasn’t his business been absolutely taxed and regulated into the ground. Social media isn’t as distopian as people think but what’s going on twitter is not making anything better for anyone. World would be a better place without it.

    18. His descent is actually a lot more recent than many realise. A few years ago, he was proudly boasting about how lgbt friendly tesla was as an organisation. I have no idea what’s caused him to go this far down the rabbit hole. Perhaps the stuff to do with his daughter? I know the old adage is that you shouldn’t underestimate someone’s intelligence just because you disagree with them, but he genuinely comes across someone who isn’t particularly bright but has stumbled his way into a position that he has no idea what to do with.

    19. He is having a temper tantrum after backing the biggest racist idiot in the world, after him, and watching his money go up in smoke. Everyone should join [https://www.reddit.com/r/CyberStuck/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CyberStuck/) , a piss take of his stupid truck that he can’t sell throughout Europe because it’s too ugly for European eyes, or something.

    20. WillHart199708 on

“Musk has spent the last week sparring with Kier Starmer” is an interesting way to describe a completly one way feud. The UK government seems to be largely ignoring him, which is quite right as he is just being a pest.

    21. Suitable-Gas-7979 on

His platform has caused criminal damage in the millions of £ in the UK. Crazy how the government is not charging him for it.

    22. A complete and utter man child clown. The sooner ‘X’ goes bankrupt and he’s ostracised the better.

    23. All-Day-stoner on

Musk being radicalised by his own platform is hilarious. He should focus on selling shit electric cars!

    24. I’ve got a sneaky feeling Musk might become known as the person to go from world’s richest to bankrupt in the next few decades

He’s getting toxic and without policy and contracts from governments and states he’ll become an issue for his companies then it gets messy

Yes, he’s richer than god now but there might be an implosion on the way

    25. He’s quite weird Musk, isn’t he? I don’t really know what his interest UK social relations is? Do Americans think that Brexit is a mere extension of their influence and a testbed of their social media influence or what?

He does seem very pissed-off, just like Farage and many others on the right are, that the country elected a Labour Government to rule. Not even on the policy front. Just the mere idea of it has triggered some of their minions into violent reaction.

    26. First reaction, that is some shady shit. On reflection, people have been doing this for years, using 3rd party services that archive tweets.

Musk is an arse hole for sure. But this kind of thing is par for the course. It’s meta, with a small m.

    27. Wait, so, given that nothing from these databases is ever actually deleted, he’s gone in and retrieved an unpublished Tweet and reshared it?

Wow. My utter bafflement at Twitter as a platform all the way back in 2007 pays off yet again.

    28. Elon’s a knob but it is hilarious watching the same people who can’t wait to post any right-leaning tweet they don’t like on Reddit suddenly not like it when it happens to a Labour politician.

None of these people are your friends, stop treating politics like a football match.

    29. PitmaticSocialist on

Can we all boycott Twitter and use a different platform we are giving this guy too big of a platform

    30. mountain4455 on

Plenty of people have lost jobs and been punished over historic tweets. Shouldn’t be any different because she’s a labour MP

    31. ScoopTheOranges on

He could literally be Iron Man.. instead he’s starting random internet drama with politicians. What a loser.

    32. Crypt0Nihilist on

I wonder how much it cost Tesla in his wages for him to dig this information out and Tweet about it. Likely more than the average person makes in a year.

    33. Quicks1ilv3r on

      Great, I love it.

It’s fantastic that the world is seeing how hypocritical our politicians are.

    34. Musk is weaponising Twitter and using UK as an example. This highly endangers (ironically) the sovereignty of the UK.

Showing off to who? Maybe the US establishment or maybe even…Russia! Who knows what this son of a paedophile is capable of!
