      JC: “We’re the Independents Party”

Everyone: “The Independence Party? What do you want independence from?”

JC: “No – the Independents Party. We’re all independent from one another”

Everyone: “Ok, so, by what logic are you a party if you’re all independent? Isn’t that an oxymoron?”

JC: “I dunno, but I get to be leader”

Just as Reform have pulled the tories right, this Party will pull Labour left.

Bad news for Starmer, great news for the country as a whole.

      Which is what really matters…….

The United Sovereign Socialist Revolutionary party has a certain ring to it. Could even abbreviate it to avoid being a mouthful.

    4. “I think we’re all beginning to lose sight of the real issue here, which is: what are we going to call ourselves? I think it comes down to a choice between “The League Against Salivating Monsters” or, my own personal preference, which is “The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society.” One drawback with that–the abbreviation is C.L.I.T.O.R.I.S.”, Rimmer

Britain needs a real left alternative (and by “left” we’re not even talking socialist or democratic socialist; social democracy would be a breath of fresh air).

The problem with Corbyn and any who will sign on with Corbyn is that they are tainted by batshit insane foreign policy positions. People want trains that run on time and affordable homes and groceries; they do not want to kowtow to Hamas and the Kremlin in order to get those things.

Has to be called ‘Peoples Front Of Judea’… is Diana going to get an invite?

The centrists in this comment sections seem to think they’re funnier than they are.

Maybe we will get an alternative to the Tories and Tory-Lite® Labour? A party that fights for the people and not the rich and the corporations. One that doesn’t put money and property over people. One can hope for a brighter future.

So basically making a party with pro Islamist Hamas supporters?

He sure does love to keep in company of terrorists.

I don’t really care about the Middle East but I don’t think this is in the best interest of Britain 🤣

The Labour party managed to get about on sixth of the electorate to vote for them. They and the Conservatives look and sound alike and offer us nothing but more of the same s h i t that has lead to where we are right now as a nation. Two cheeks of the same backside and we all have to put up with what they squeeze out between them. We need an alternative economic position – one that is based around the needs of the country not the wants of a small handful of billionaires.

What are their policy differences from the Greens other than the non Corbyn ones on gay and trans issues?

What are their policy differences from the former party Respect?

What are their policy differences from the Workers Party of Great Britain?

Seems to be huge policy over lap with those groups.

So is this teaming up with Galloway and all the other anti-Israel lot standing on a single issue of division?

    13. realmofconfusion on

Hey Jeremy. Do you want Con/Reform to have more influence in this parliament or to win the next election? No, I thought not.

How about supporting your own party then instead of being a shit-stirring weasel.

Are Labour *exactly* what *you* want them to be? No.

Are Labour better than the alternative? Yes.

      Don’t be a twat.

Guys, imagine the fun we would be having now if this guy won the GE. He was pretty close too!

    15. ThatGuyMaulicious on

Honestly anything that breaks up Labour’s concoction of misfits and volatiles. Unlike Starmer I can respect the guy because he knows his worth and he sticks by his beliefs. Which is a lot more then Starmer who switches what he believes on a diem of the weekly issue and outright lies when he was going to be a beacon of stability and unity. Given this past 2 weeks where his approval has taken a nosedive.

Oh hey the right wing and centrists have popped up after having a week off, weird that.

Building a party cemented around a position on a region of land in another continent – sure to lead to landslide success

Gaza is a fringe issue outside of Muslim voters and the far left

Remember Labour with all their money and power only got 8million votes

Reform had the professionalism of a pub football team and got 4 million

Corbyn’s an activist who always needs somebody to complain about. There always has to be a ‘cause’. If he stands for everything he said he stands for, the world will need more floor space. It’s very easy to play a social warrior & a Monday morning quarterback. Whatever he does the antisemitism will follow. Put him Afghanistan for an hour with a feminist female friend or get him & an LGBT friend to clean a roof in Palestine. Reality would set in very quickly. ‘Peace and solidarity’ .

    19. Jezza Corbyn is one of the good guys in Parliament amongst a sea of muck. It’s sad he never got to be Prime Minister so we missed the greatest opportunity in multiple generations. He could have taken Britain hard left and restored working class glory for the country. Now we’re left with an imposter who wouldn’t look out of place as Tory leader.

    20. MouthyLittleShit on

I always said that Kier Starmer will be the best Tory Prime minister since Cameron.

We need a true left wing party that will take back the money that the rich stole and put it back into the working class community. The true left know that it isn’t immigrants causing the problems with jobs and social housing. They know that it’s caused by 14 years of Tory austerity and budget cuts for public services.

With the proper budget, the NHS would run smoothly, without delays and ambulance drivers wouldn’t need to wait for hours in a queue waiting to hand over their patient.

Rishi’s Tory party has funneled tax payers money to pay for dodgy fake contracts to fill their own pockets.

The rich has controlled our economy, inflation and wages for long enough. It’s time to protest against the elite, not the immigrants!

    21. they should be called the party of ideology over reality

jeremy corbyn had the chance to implement real change in the UK, and he threw it away because he couldn’t set aside his anti-Semitism, weak military position, and brexit ideology

      guy is a walking joke
