    1. I can’t imagine how traumatic this must all be to these families. All my thoughts and best wishes to them.

She’s probably going to end up with tons of survivor guilt, not to mention the other traumas.
      So sad 🙁

    3. Damn, that’s probably going to live with the older sister forever when she gets older, can’t imagine the pain of knowing 2 of your kids were there and there’s nothing you could do.

    4. I hope she doesn’t blame herself. Nothing she could have done other then run away and hope she can survive.

The poor parents having to deal with that and then see the racism spewing out after it. The kids and parents would rather everyone be out dancing and having fun together.

So sad that the catalyst for all these troubles has been essentially forgotten, barely had a second to think about these poor children before we were swamped with images of rioting racists and Muslims armed with machetes…

Fucking hell. I could never imagine being in that position.
I hope she gets all the help she is going to need.

I also feel for the adults who actually tried to stop it, as grown ups, they’ll feel they had the opportunity and potential to stop it so I fear the guilt will be super strong – even though it shouldn’t be. Meanwhile, hopefully the kids will grow up and realise that it was a situation out of their control.
