Software for making welding mostly autonomous. It will most likely be slowly introduced this decade and quickly afterwards.

Imagine having a global company, regional or local firm using this. Human hours would be used for inspections, safety and quality improvements.

This is needed for humanity to go beyond Earth and the moon.

Edits: did some more research on YouTube and this is the trend for machines, parts and similar firms small, mid and large globally now 2024.

Not an expert in this area but the software/app and robot arm allows welders to do less important welding and reduce backlogs.

    Problem with robotic welding is that the machines are too precise. If the assembly or tolerances are not perfect you get bad welds. Bad welds require more rework and lost efficiency.

    What we need is to perfect milling and assembly. Once that happens then we’ll get some gnarly improvements.
