Doesn’t surprise me. The closest bomb squad was probably Cardiff or even London.

Interesting choice of words when referring to a beach.
Maybe we could borrow some seals from the yanks to deal with it.

It’s got a driving band. It’s a shell not a bomb.
This would be bad time to say I used one of these as a door stopper for years when I was younger
I’m left baffled by this.
It obviously didn’t float away. It’s pretty much going to be in the same place, just re-covered in shingle.
Why not simply use a metal detector? It can’t exactly have gone far.
