We need to be more united and fight back against communists and dictatorship countries! Because we are the only pro-western countries in the region,and the only democratic ones.

Sorry this might come across a little ignorant, since I am not from Armenia, but I’m seriously interested in this:
Why? Especially with the 2022 gas agreements with Baku, the EU has already opted for Azerbaijan.
I also see no political will within the EU, neither as overarching organisation nor by individual states, to do more, if anything at all, for Armenia.
Are closer ties with Russia worse than what Azerbaijan is doing and going to do?
I would very much appreciate any opinion from people who are personally affected by the situation or even live in Armenia.
