Quaise Energy and Nevada Gold Mines are looking into a deep geothermal pilot plant to retrofit NGM’s coal-fired TS Power Plant. NGM is the single-largest gold-producing complex in the world. If this works, it could be huge for the future of clean energy. If we can make use of all that fossil fuel infrastructure, but for clean energy, that would be incredible.
