Hello fellow redditors.
On my recent trip to Madrid, I saw some street performers and they were playing such beautiful songs.
Can anyone tell me more about them like is this an event or some kind of holiday or something that happens often and is there any special significance to it? The names of the songs would also be appreciated as I would like to look them up. Thank you very much in advance.

this look like a Tuna.
Tuna is the name of this kind of traditional music group mostly made of university students that play traditional music usually by walking from place to place.

The song they are singing is “los nardos” or “por la calle de Alcalá”
Most tunas have a similar repertoire, I’m sure if you search for “canciones de tuna” in spotify or youtube you’ll find a lot
