      That’s probably it though right? They say it then just don’t do anything. Nothing else happens.
      Maybe they can’t do anything.

      They’ve already said they can’t pay bonuses using cash from consumer bills. Result, almost bankrupt Thames water paying bonuses using money that can only be from consumers bills. What they going to do, throw daisies at them?

      Note. I see this is a watchdog overseeing the offwat regulator, which is sort of funny.

      Those of us who suggested that selling the water companies was a terrible idea and would lead to increased bills are feeling sadly vindicated these days.

      She who was running the country at the time I would love to hear what she had to say now. Probably the same bullshit they all spout while avoiding the actual question.

      There should be arrests over this, stop being weak.

    3. It is highly likely Government is a conduit for corruption to put public money into the bank accounts of failed business.

    4. Can we fine the Tory party who did this then rather than the government who’s in now? Won’t make a dent in the Tories war chest

    5. Outrageous, we need an independent inquiry that might take a couple years from which there will be lessons learned.
