      Always naive of me to hope these people have some semblance of guilt after the act but nope. I suspect life tariff coming for this utter subhuman.

      From what I’ve read, it’s pretty clear the guy got dumped and went looking for revenge. It’s not particularly surprising to find that he may have decided to mix some sexual violence in with the murder.

      The whole point of the killing was presumably so he could assuage his bruised ego and ‘show her who’s boss’ after all.

      Looking at that added charge, I can’t comprehend how an awful an end it must have been for these women.

      I hope this piece of shit suffers for the rest of his life. He deserves no less. He deserves no peace, and no rest.

      We need to move towards a system which does not give people like Clifford a right to a trial. Our principles of equality under the law are not sacred and for individuals like him where their crime is horrific and indisputable an immediate death sentence or life without parole is best.

      Agreed. I take solace in the fact that he apparently attempted suicide after his horrific crimes and left himself with life changing injuries but I’m not sure on the details. Prison is not enough for this monster.
