    1. “The “trap and drag” incident, which took place on 24 November at about 12.07am, is the latest case of a rail passenger having to run alongside trains with their hand or arm trapped in doors at stations”

Isnt this more to do with passengers being bloody impatient and trying to board a train where the doors are closing?

    2. This should never happen. But nothing will be done about it and they’ll get very little if any compensation.

Sounds incredibly painful, could see a lawsuit coming but the jammy gits wouldn’t want to pay out.

    4. We should put some flashing lights and some form of audible beeping when the train doors close so people won’t stick their appendages in

    5. Remember when they used to have jobs for station staff to check for this kind of thing and blow a whistle to indicate all was clear.

Would love to see the CCTV here… I bet the passenger deliberately put their hands in the closing door…

    7. Tbf he wasn’t forced to run anywhere, more compelled to run by forces of physics and needed to retain his arm.

    8. Would this have happened with a proper Automated system? Why did the very expensive train driver fail

    9. Train drivers no longer stick their heads out or look in the mirror to check if it’s clear to go?
