    1. Hello – first time posting, so apologies if not the right format/not what gets posted here.

I thought of doing my year in review a little differently this time, and include not just financial aspects (which I normally do), but also include things that made the year memorable, and some key events throughout.

It’s all simple really – just made on Excel/Powerpoint, and the Sankey chart was made using sankeymatic.com.

    2. Having a savings rate AND tax rate both simultaneously higher than your annual budget must take some gumption.

lol at India-parents upkeep. More than what you spent on restaurants. What does that even include?

    4. What’s the box in the top right of Cash Flow showing? I can’t figure out where the numbers come from. I would have expected income to be the sum of incoming money, and expense to be the same as Budget, but it’s clearly not.

edit: I typed this and then took another look, it looks like income is all incoming money, except superannutation (not really sure what this is, but I guess some sort of pass through?) minus the taxes? Still not sure about expenses though. I guess your income here is meant to be taken as disposable income.

    5. Only thing I would change is the crossfit/cycling scales being on opposite sides of the bar positions, found that confusing for a moment.
