      That goes to anyone with a big enough reach on Twitter tbf. This isn’t news.

      I also think it’s a pretty decent thing. ‘Creators’ get paid for their work…although I do see a problem with people then just posting incendiary things, just to make money. But it’s still nice that people can do that. So ‘pretty decent’.

      This isn’t a story, they just have monetised X accounts which anyone with enough followers can do.

      This would be like presenting “Farage’s YouTube channel makes money from AdSense” as “Google pay Farage to post on YouTube”.

      Technically true but misleading as it implies he has a special deal and isn’t using the regular monetisation scheme that is open to everyone.
