Mother doesn’t want to get muddled while watching a film (4)
(Hopefully this is solvable, it makes sense having come up with it but that’s not to say it works standalone!)

Each week day gets a specific difficulty ?

What led you to think a stacked bar chart was the best method to depict these data on this thread? What were you trying to show?

5 minutes for Monday is nuts. I average 48 minutes for Saturday, so not far off, but my Monday average is over 10 minutes. You must be basically typing answers immediately as you read the clues on Monday.

Mission completed. Now try to complete even one of the “Listener Crosswords” in the UK Times 😉

How’d you extract the data? I have the charts that NYT gives you, but not the extracted raw data. I have the app with archive and have done every puzzle since 2014 – lol. I let others do archived Monday and Tuesday sometimes, so those times are skewed for me, but the data would still be interesting.

How many errors/typos did you encounter?

Quickly looking at this, it seems like the most variability in solve times comes on the extra-tricksy Thursdays, which is the same with me. If you don’t “get” the theme quickly, it can make it very hard to solve in a reasonable time.
Saturdays are also really variable for me: sometime they go fine, and sometimes I just can’t (without cheating).
