I don’t know why no one is mentioning Didi Dighomi because beginning sounds like someone is stuttering

  3. Yes it is

და is used for both “sister” and “and”

Rare moment of Georgian being weird

  4. De do do do, de da da da

Yes but I have never heard someone say that in sentences because of its confusing nature :dd just use plural of sister 🕺

  6. Reminds me of the English phrase “he and she”, used in the language apps and books based on “50 languages”.

It of course becomes “ის და ის” in Georgian – another phrase that I guess is strictly speaking correct, but would be rare in practice.

  8. Both words are homonyms. They are the same word with a different meaning. English examples:

    * Bat – The animal and object
    * Train – form of transport and to train (exercise)
    * Lead – “to be in charge of” or “a toxic metal”
