    1. When Democrats care more about latinX and identity politics than what people actually care about.

    2. Oof. My dad is Afro-Latino (he *hates* Trump), and I’m cringing so hard right now. I used to bristle when people suggested Latinos can’t govern themselves. Now I’m like… damn can anyone??

I’m Latino, I’m not apologizing for how my family members in the us voted.

How ever, have you seen how bad at voting we are down here?

    4. there’s a youtube channel where a chicago gas station owner records his interactions with customers where he’s usually trolling but is also wholesome. its almost all black men that he posts because they play tough. he was asking them if they were going to vote for kamala; he had a bunch of them saying hell no, they voting for trump. immigration was a concern often cited. iirc, misogyny was another.

    5. The 3D bar chart is textbook bad chart design. So unnecessary. And why is the key a gradient? This doesn’t belong in a sub for beautiful data!

    6. Pandering doesn’t work. Maybe in 4 years we will have a normal election but god knows only the worst candidates on both sides will trickle up

    9. One of many examples that shows just how badly the Democratic has campaigned and strategized since Obama

I wonder if there was something that happened post Covid that affected every countries voting patterns to go against their incumbent party.
