This is infuriating both from the innocent people who got hurt in this attack and the senseless destruction of a historic building.
Old things can be restored, even if it is not quite the same. And they should be remade. Some with old craftmanship. Others can be a mix, modern on the inside and old on the outside.
As for the people lost, that can never be repaired… Nor forgiven.
