Food prices are already disgusting, and the fresh stuff lasts about 2 days before it starts rotting. If I hadn’t just had a child I would be considering leaving this country because there really doesn’t look to be much of a promising future.

I might finally shift some of this weight if I can’t afford food anymore.

What’s the actual point anymore , like in general

My entire working life, things have only gotten worse every year , and it started before I finished high school

What am I living for? Working towards? My wages are already down in real terms despite being almost 30% higher than 5 or 6 years ago …

  4. Any excuse to pump up the prices.

They’ll blame the wind changing directions if they could.

I hope this isn’t a dumb question but I want to know why we don’t eat the crops we grow?

  6. Never been so glad I have friends with a allotment! Just stupid now we produce so much food.

This shit would be so much smaller an issue if we just had balls and controlled the cost of housing and utilities. Why are we paying out of the arse to economically inactive landlords and impotent middlemen?

Seem to remember Brexiters saying we were going to get cheaper food when we scrap all those EU trade deals – what happened?
