What if the therapist advises you to take some days off to reduce your stress levels?

First off all can’t get a GP appointment then the GP has to referral you and then you go on a waiting list for about 6 months you do get weekly text messages that you are still on the waiting list so that’s kinda nice ; )

Yeah fuck off wanker. If I’m mentally sick cuz of the environment and dysfunctional family I have my right to not feel good and not making your fucked system money wasting my health and precious time

But I have no money for therapy, can the NHS help me now after Brexit?

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! go back to work!

  5. It sure was a brilliant idea to leave the EU. The UK is actively making it harder to get sick leave.
Keep this up and maybe you can get your health care system to become worse than that of the US.

Maybe very unpopular but way before social welfare was an endemic thing, what would people really be doing?

I totally have compassion and empathy for the very unfortunate members of society who legitimately have health issues and can’t work, but where do you draw the line? I know a lot of British people that could absolutely work but rather go for unemployment benefits. If the system wasn’t so lax and permissive, they’d probably be working without much fuss.

And while it’s totally understandable to immediately get angry at some wealthy people that can afford not to work, it’s such a demographic minority that even if somehow eliminated wouldn’t really in the long run put much of a dent in the British economy. Like is it that hard for people to understand that individual wealth, even if confiscated, would be a tear drop in a swimming pool of a national budget? The cost of social benefits is actually a burden to the middle class lol

More than anything the sane and level headed approach is to fund the health sector better but with pilot programs that eventually force people to find some form of employment, be it part time or situational. And more than anything, the human brain needs continuous stimulus, which perhaps doesn’t equate to salve labour hour and wages, but also not sitting at home doing nothing collecting money.

  7. I can see why these guys don’t think a deportation to Rwanda is inhumane, they’re making the UK look like the worse alternative

Having worked in medicine for a long time (not any more) there is definitely a sick note culture for some. GPs would generally hand them out to the non-sick when asked because otherwise they’d waste endless time having the person make repeat appointments or argue with them or otherwise cause a fuss, and they want to get on and treat real patients.

That said, nothing the government does has any short term effect. There are many serious conditions that are extremely easy to fake and a significant minority will to fake them. I dont think the honest and unwell should suffer because of a healthy, idle and deceitful minority.

I’m actually thankful I got out of the UK when I did. Keep voting for the fucking Tories and see what happens.

    Cunts

They put us all in this state of hyper anxiety or depression by manufacturing crises every few months and deliberately destroying any quality of life we try to build for ourselves.

In the process they destroy any service that might help support or resolve the issues they have caused, as well as annihilating medical services to cause a rapid decline in physical health.

And then to top it all off, they label people as lazy, or faking it, and demand they get back to work.

    Cunts.

You guys gotta work twice as hard to fix all the problems we caused with brexit, so no excuses!

  12. What would a this insanely rich public school boy sociopath know about, well, empathy or emotions (beyond obvious contempt and anger at everyone he considers to be inferior ie less rich, than him)?
