Of course the guardian is taking the side of the murderers.

Should be banned as a source!*, it’s totally biased, etc..same supposed problems and bias that everybody points to with the daily mail. Just a different side.

*I don’t actually want this, I think upvotes should decide rather than some arbitrary mod ruling like some here want. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Edit since ppl are replying then deleting: drill often gives details of the crimes that aren’t otherwise public ally available. So people rapping about the crime in their “music” means they have inside knowledge. This is nothing new. Nobody innocent is being jailed because of this, it’s just the way the law has always worked and the way it should continue to work.

  2. If you’re dumb enough to rap about your crimes then of course they should be usable as evidence in court. If the only evidence of a crime is a rap song, then of course you shouldn’t be found guilty. I think most people would agree with that, no need to make it a big deal.

Reminds me of the scene in Anatomy of a Fall where the prosecution brings up the husband playing “P.I.M.P.” as evidence of misogynistic provocation and the defence says “it was an instrumental version!”

    [Killer instrumental version btw.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ6J4xHuMgc)
