Man, it’s been a while since I last heard of anyone stupid enough to run a domestic chop shop. It’s way lower risk to just ship the cars to Asia/Africa whole and have them chopped over there, given how little the CBSA seems to care about car exports.
Raynor Bucknor, 56, of Mississauga, Washburn Ellott, 54, of Brampton, Kevin Thomas, 53, of Milton, and Steven Uka, 60, of Etobicoke, are each charged with theft of motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime (10 counts), tamper/alter/deface VIN (three counts) and mischief over $5,000 (four counts).
