Three hours of real time video I recorded during the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. There was a massive aurora during the meteor shower and tons of bats can be seen flying silhouetted against the northern lights. The audio is a 40 minute loop of the audio from the night with out any car noises and stuff.
I used a canon R6m2 and sigma 24mm f1.4 lens.

Damn, it really exploded with light and color toward the end! The beginning of the video looks like what I’ve seen a couple times in the past, but I can’t imagine seeing those vibrant colors in real life. The whole video looks amazing, but those reds and yellows… wow

Imma put this on when I’m going to sleep, the sounds of nature and the visual aspect of the aurora borealis are so calming

This is incredible! Roughly where was this? I’m jealous. I have some great dark sky areas near where I live and I saw an insane amount of meteors during this shower the second to last time it came around (about 250 in 4 hrs), but we don’t get the aurora (Utah, USA).
