We need at least 3 full therms for actual measures to take place so the enemy will never know our next move😉

Azerbaijan signed a *military*-technical *agreement* in 2022 with **Russia**.
Azerbaijan recently agrees to buy and integrate **Chinese** JF-17 Block 3 fighter jets into its air force.
Azerbaijan vocally admonishes the USA, EU, and democracy in general, multitude of times since 2020.
Why should USA and EU speak up? Let’s be real.

You know, this hot take seems to be mostly incorrect. But maybe what you mean is you don’t think that diplomatic action and sanctions are action? I don’t know. But here is what really happened for those who care:
2008: Europe and the United States responded primarily through diplomatic and political channels. Both condemned Russia’s actions and called for an immediate ceasefire. The EU, through its High Representative, and the US, through official statements and diplomatic pressure, pushed for negotiations and a peaceful resolution. They provided humanitarian and political support to Georgia but stopped short of any direct military intervention.
2014: The US and Europe condemned the annexation and responded mainly through diplomatic and economic measures. They imposed sanctions on Russian individuals, companies, and sectors, suspended or downgraded diplomatic relations, and increased political and, in some cases, military support for Ukraine.
2014: Following the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in July 2014, both Europe and the US took several actions:
They condemned the attack and called for accountability.
They supported and helped coordinate international investigations (including the Joint Investigation Team) that implicated a Buk missile system linked to pro-Russian forces.
They imposed additional sanctions on Russia, targeting individuals, companies, and sectors connected to the incident.
They increased diplomatic pressure on Russia while reinforcing political and humanitarian support for Ukraine.
2022-25:
After the invasion in February 2022, Europe and the US responded with sustained diplomatic, economic, and military measures:
They imposed broad and escalating sanctions on Russian banks, oligarchs, energy sectors, and defense industries.
Both provided extensive military aid to Ukraine, including weapons, intelligence, and training, while ramping up humanitarian assistance.
NATO increased its military presence and readiness in Eastern Europe, reinforcing deterrence measures.
They coordinated efforts to isolate Russia diplomatically and worked to reduce dependency on Russian energy.
Throughout 2022–2025, these policies have been maintained and expanded to pressure Russia into ending its military operations in Ukraine.
Western countries provided Ukraine with advanced weaponry and extensive military support, which enabled Ukraine to conduct counteroffensives. The aid package evolved from defensive systems to include offensive capabilities such as precision-guided munitions, advanced artillery, and air defense systems. The decision was not framed as “allowing” Ukraine to strike back but as a commitment to support Ukraine’s right to self-defense and deter further aggression.

Meanwhile even redditards were silent about the last passenger plane russia shot down just because it didn’t have any NATO civilians on board like that matters, the problem has always been Russia’s willful use of lethal force on any none combatants because that is wrong. Also if we allow them to shoot their own civi planes they sure af won’t think twice about shooting our civi planes down.

Well the difference is Ukraine is in Europe. Many people don’t like Europe or America to interfere somewhere else.
They are often criticized if they do so.

Unfortunately politicians are spineless and ball-less.

US and EU were not silent at all in 2008! In fact I believe they played a huge role in ending the war so soon and with relatively few casualties.

So Us/EU is the world police and have to declare war on every dictaror?

Strange the wars of Azerbaijan against Armenia are missing in your list. Azerbaijan is just a smaller version of Russia, why should anybody help them? But maybe they can buy some more politicians to help them.
