30% of people in the us are behind on rent? Did I miss interpret the data?
These numbers are bonkers. Either this is complete BS or the US is completely screwed.

It’s phrased quite a bit differently. “Percentage of adults in households **not current on rent or mortgage** where eviction or foreclosure in the next two months is either very likely or somewhat likely”
30% of people not current on rent are likely to be evicted in the next two months. I’m surprised it’s not higher.
So this is what it was like in 2007….good times ahead!

I’m confused. This is people likely to be evicted in 2024. Wouldn’t they have been evicted on paid by now. What did the actual amount end up being?
The title of this graphic and what it actually represents are two completely different things. No real point of going further explaining all the issues here.
Misleading title and header graphic arrows that draw your eye but point to nothing specific, I hate it.
