      The return was already scheduled on a SpaceX capsule, before Trump even won the election. Trump and musk are just lying through their teeth about this. And since musk especially knew this, he needs to shut up. And get the hell out of our lives

      I don’t think anyone is saying that they’re abandoned but I think they have been stranded up there. They were supposed to go for a 2-week mission and now it’s getting closer to a year because of the incompetence or overconfidence in Boeing

      They got left behind by a malfunctioned Boeing capsule and because that happened couldn’t get home until February. So they extended their mission. I feel like this was widely publicized at the time and the only entity who deserved any criticism was Boeing.

      Can anyone explain to me why Boeing, NASA, and these astronauts decided to move forward with the launch? It seemed like a completely awful idea with all of the delays and the issues Boeing has been having. I’m not sure i would have agreed to go into space for the fear of dying on that Boeing craft.

      Boeing said they would have brought the bodies back but NASA wanted them alive . Boeing was under the impression these astronauts were whistle blowers

      It’s probably a good thing that they weren’t able to come home. As soon as they land the President is going to fire them for “poor job performance”.

      Feels like Trump and Elon are in the beginning stages of a massive pyramid scheme with all the shit they’re doing, along with all the conflict of interest. How tf is Elon even in office? He wasn’t elected and he’s not even an American citizen.

      Meanwhile, the remaining 5 still up there doing what astronauts do, look on with bewildered amusement.

      They were stranded by Boeing and by extension NASA. Since NASA knew of the issues and gave Boeing the thumbs up they share in the blame.

      So either the SpaceX ship will blow up because they fired a bunch of NASA people (will probably crash into a 747 flying by because they fired a bunch of FAA personnel… or the moment these 2 arrive back they’ll be fired not reporting to to the office last year.

      Might as well make a bingo card out of this.
