    1. Tesla can go and fuck off right there. Hopefully twitter will follow in the next years. One can dream…

    2. The electric market is still slowly building up and there are several much cheaper options than Tesla, so I think something like this could have happened even without Elon being a Hitler-cocksucker

I’m envious of how Canadians have come together to remove everything Yankee from their purchase, if the whole world became aware the risketo would quickly go downhill.

I wish we wouldn’t describe it as a “boycott”. That makes it seem co-ordinated, allowing Musk to claim he’s the victim of a campaign by the “radical left”, whereas I think people have just decided that they don’t want them.

    5. Just wait… No cargo ships have arrived in January. One has arrived already in February, and another two are expected to arrive this week. Plus another two in March. In early March when deliveries take place we’ll be able to gauge this boycott properly.

Also in Spain the incentives have been temporarily ruled out so that is also a factor.

    6. I’m not buying a car from a Nazi. Sorry but my money will go either for a Dacia Spring or a Hyundai Inster

    7. It’s just because tbey are going to release the juniper and everyone is waiting for it…

      The boycott is not real

If Nestle taught us anything, is that people do not give a fuck about company ethics. And we’re talking about like 3€ difference, don’t tell me people will actually buy an inferior product for 5k more simply because they don’t like the CEO.

It’s most likely because Tesla hasn’t released a new car in like what, 5 years? More? They still can’t align panels and also others caught up.

    9. The ceo of a company clearly marketed to left wing and eco people turns completely nazi and builds a truck for morons

    10. Does Europe produce comparable electric vehicles quality wise and are these eu produced cars competitive on the global market or will the american teslas simply be replaced with chinese cars? Is that better? Buying cars from a government that has a [social credit system ](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Credit_System) and is known for violating the human rights declaration?

I am not encouraging dependency on US companies, sure, if the EU manages to outsource production back from other continents then that’s great but what’s the point in boycotting tesla and then buying from China. The production probably happens in China mostly anyway, no matter which brand it is.

    11. Tariffs are never a good idea, it only hurts countries’ economies and citizens. The boycott should be issued by the consumers, not the governments dictating what their citizens will consume and what they won’t.

And yes, this includes the stupid trade war Trump has provoked

Moved to Spain form the US in Jan to escape fascist Cheeto and glad I picked the right country 👌🏻

    13. Son unos coches que al margen de lo político, generan mucho rechazo social. Te adelanta uno y lo primero que piensas es “Mira el gilipollas del Tesla”. Esa opinión se ha extendido mucho, al menos a mi alrededor.

    14. Are we sure that the cybertrucks are not just collapsing on their own by encountering snow for the first time this winter? I love when most reddit accounts I follow, they also become r/cyberstuck by default

    15. The “sales collapse” is because of the Model Y transition from legacy to Juniper. Nothing related with a boycott.

    16. It’s actually a lot simpler: we’re becoming poorer every day and most people just can’t afford it.

    17. Spain: It’s not like I can afford it anyways.

PS: Tbh there has been a lot of anti-tesla sentiment due to a popular mechanic influencer called Angel Gaitan.
