Musk wants to NASA cancel the Artemis programs and concentrate on Mars because he will make more money that way. That’s what will happen in likelihood.

Sorry, but I think it casts uncertainty over a hell lot more than the US moon program.

Can’t mine the moon it’s an intense for all consciousness on Earth. We ar are in a simulation or consciousness is in the black hole. Our bodies are on earth. We use the moon to transmit the signals. Humans rose up off the ground with iron in our bodies as antenna to send and receive messages both internally to each other and from other cosmos.

We know he wants to cut as many of us as he can, so SpaceX can take our place, and trumptydumpty will up his funding again. That walking pile of dog shit is running and ruining this country.

NASA, like most US programs they are gutting are being remade to benefit the rich, not for any actual good goals. So the moon and mars missions will still happen, but expect a lot of cutting corners, people literally dying in space cause the heads care about profits, not people, and SpaceX making a killing with giant government sole sourced contracts.

Agreed! Musk wants a monopoly on everything outside our atmosphere…it probably doesn’t stop there.

The only thing elame wants is to get the US taxpayers to fund his advancements in space so he can be the first to get out there and start mining asteroids.
Everyone knows the immensity of riches just floating around out there, so the first few to actually be able to get out there and mine will control everything in a short period of time.

Musk says he wants to go and terraform Mars as an escape plan for humanity from Earth. But wouldn’t it be
cheaper, and more certain of success, to “terraform” Earth? He has enough money to eradicate world hunger, for a start.

Musk giving the moon to China and India wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card. But I guess in retrospect it was to be expected.

“Jim Free, NASA’s associate administrator who has been a central voice defending the agency’s Artemis moon program.” Yes, but it’s crucial to note he’s a central voice in staying committed to SLS no matter how costly it is. He refused to face the fact that SLS could kill Artemis by making it unsustainable. He failed to reign in the costs at Boeing and at the NASA centers working directly on SLS.
