These jobs did not need saving before trumpolini and president musk arrived on the scene
They should have never been part of this BS downsizing/power grab in the first place. Fucking hell at least NASA didn’t make the same mistake as the DOE and USDA did by immediately firing their nuclear weapons experts and bird flu researchers whom both agencies are now scrambling to rehire.
