And since it lies outside of Jupiter’s radiation belts, it’s much more suitable for habitation than its other main moons.
This is old news. Its well theorized that due to their similarities and Europa’s constantly changing surface that Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa all have a mantle made up of water.

Now I’m thinking about the ocean planet from Interstellar
There’s a lot of water in our solar system isn’t there? So why do these damn aliens come straight to our world for our water? I’m starting to think there might even be some gold just orbiting somewhere in the system too.
