wealth should be a log scale. Wealth grows generally in proportion, a linear scale will always overemphasise recency.
Otherwise – nice. What made Sikkim so rich? The one guy living there won the lottery?

I like the graph, informative way of showing the change. One thing though, wealth is an accumulation of assets. GDP per capita is more a representation of income.
Accumulation of wealth over the same time would be interesting to see if people are benefiting over the long term.

Ehats up with Kerala? Literacy is at the top for most of the period but it doesn’t seem to pay of at all? Highly traditional/religious?

That’s really interesting and a bit surprising. I started watching with the assumption the the correlation would be more direct. I guess there are a lot of other factors which is logical when you think about it. Literacy was probably important, but other important things needed to happen too.
