    1. > “disgust” that it has entered into a media partnership with The Sun newspaper

Working with The Sun is disgusting whatever the topic.

    2. Thing is there’s a significant minority gaming the system. That feeds the tabloids looking to turn standard stuff into juicy headlines.

Guarantee, out in the real world and off social media platforms like this one, people know of at least one full grown adult friend/former colleague/neighbour who’s clearly living quite comfortably like they’re working (but aren’t) and brags openly (down the local or on group chat) about living largely off of benefits.

The fucking civil service needs to go back to being impartial. They should not be commenting on any government plans, it’s highly unprofessional.

    4. This is why I have absolutely no sympathy whenever the Sun (or another right-wing paper) publishes an allegedly misleading article or headline about Starmer’s Labour. Starmer and his team are perfectly happy to crawl back to the paper whenever they want to demonise benefits claimants, or [do culture war shite](https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/politics/33269661/wes-streeting-woke-nonsense/), or [attack environmentalists](https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/30853358/keir-starmer-great-british-industry-net-zero/).

If the party are happy to try and benefit from the dishonest bile the Sun regularly spew, they can’t complain when a fraction of that bile is directed at them.

Welp. This truly has to be peak Starmerism, a “Labour” party that makes Margaret Thatcher look like Noam Chomsky.

The government wants as many disabled people dead as it can get away with. Cutting billions of pounds of support, the assisted suicide debates, it’s always the disabled who gets screwed over. Starmer is a spineless coward. I was hoping for a bit better under labour, but they’re pathetic, a dull, dirge of a party who would walk over the bodies of the disabled to get what they want.

    7. This has been going on for years. The mainstream media have helped successive governments push this narrative it’s not the sick disabled and poor people who have let the people down its bad economics

The problem that happened with PIP is that they changed it from you need a medical condition and a diagnose from a doctor or a consultant to “how does it effect you” that means for example snoring and bad breathing at night keeping you awake could get you PIP because it effects your daily life and how you struggle. Basically anyone can claim PIP for anything and it doesn’t matter what condition you have.

I know how hard pip is to get but there is ways to do the forms and play the assessors and with social media these days it’s a lot easier to get the words that DWP likes.

    9. F*ck the s*n!

Some will see this as disgust, rightly so, but it’s exactly the media that dumb idiots read. Show them everything! Doing this with the s*n will force them to show the reality.

When the reality that a lack of jobs, leads to a large amount of people out of work, signing on UC payments for this reason, then the government has lost its war on people signing on.

You can’t demonise something that the Uk government had a direct hand in causing with its backwards tax rises.
