The viz is powered by [D3](https://d3js.org/) and [typeahead.js](https://github.com/corejavascript/typeahead.js), with an assist from [d3-regression](https://github.com/HarryStevens/d3-regression). The tool was inspired by static graphics produced by [Vasant Laplam](https://www.lavasant.com/).
