    pretty freaking cool. near the end as it is settling down you can see some ejecta or whatever, i was surprised to see how quickly it fell back down, i kinda expected a slower descent.

  2. This is amazing! I always love how you’re never sure how far the landers are from the surface. Sometimes it looks like they’re just a couple of meters from the ground, sometimes it looks like they’re half a kilometer up.

  3. Dear Firefly PR team: you 1000% do not need artistic editing or background music for this, look at the Perseverance rover landing videos, the event itself stands on its own, you don’t need to add anything extra.

  5. Anyone know what those 2 pinkish objects are from 1:22-1:27? They don’t look like lens flares because the lens flare you can easily see moves as the lander descends and the 2 pinkish objects appear to stay stationary. Distant galaxies?
