      He’s got some excellent credentials for this.

      He and his ancestors are responsible for invading and occupying 90% of the world’s nations at one point or another.

      Who better to advise on an imperialist megalomaniac than….

    5. We never should have stood back from our Commonwealth ties. Any of us.

      It made economic and strategic sense, and I understand why we did so, with the US opening itself up to the world and to the west. But when you look at the span of American history, they’ve usually been isolationist and hostile to Canada, and at best indifferent to the fate of Britain and Europe. Roosevelt being President when the Second World War was a fluke.

      Good on him for not following Starmer’s lead of getting on his knees for Trump. Canada should be one of our closest allies yet we didn’t utter a word as their independence was threatened.
