It’s now “woke” to pick programs that are more cost effective with better performance than the one ones offered by the guy who owns the president of the US.

More money to the biggest welfare queen in America, while they cut programs to help actual Americans.

  3. dr_magic_fingers on

Is there any recourse at all, or has all oversight been removed already? This is clearly a conflict of interest.

I can’t make out if Trump is being suckered by Musk or he’s just trying to buy into having very rich friends with America tax payers money

  5. So much fraud! Im sure there was plenty already to happen in this bill, but now it’s practically written in.

    Goodbye 42Bil! I’m sure it’ll get a lot done!

What? He’s doing something that economically benefits his +1 he invited to a party that traditionally doesn’t allow a +1?

    I can’t believe it. :-O

  7. Wait wait wait I don’t live in these areas why are my tax dollars going to the hillbilly welfare queens? That’s how this dance goes right?

Elon Musk’s puppet giving Musk more money? Who could have guessed?

Was just reading about this in the latest issue of Huge Fucking Shocker magazine.

Who needs the Internet when you can’t afford a phone or computer or house or rent or food or…

  11. The election was rigged and future ones are as well.

If you take a look at the [Election Truth Alliance’s 2nd video down on their site](https://electiontruthalliance.org/videos), the data they’ve collected (found? gathered?) points to an algorithm being in place on voting tabulator machines. Which, after a certain threshold, appears to have flat out removed/replaced some votes… They even noted that in some places that are overwhelmingly blue, somehow red votes outnumbered them by 8000. Furthermore, they go into that it looks like this algorithm was partly in place during 2020 but not used for mail-in ballots.

The Election Truth Alliance states that within the next two weeks they have “something” in the works.

I could rant about this all day, but I think it’s worth if everyone took a look at what the ETA has gathered up so far. More people need to know about this.

I’ve never rooted as hard for anything as I’m rooting for ketamine.

To be honest we all knew and know what is happening. They are cutting budgets to put money elsewhere and only certain people are going to benefit and it’s NoT you or me

  14. Am I correct to assume this will significantly reduce the speed and bandwidth capabilities of whatever comes from this?

  15. Yoooo I am starting up a company. Can I get a $1B federal grant? I’d settle for $100K tbh.

  16. You know those old spy movies we ridiculed as ridiculous where the villain has an entire constellation of satellites…

  17. KingJazzHands on

Okay. Just so I understand. This is the budget that was given to Internet service providers to build out the fibre network and over time never did anything but pocket said money. If that’s the same grant, then good

  18. This is how musk is gonna get his investment back. A bunch grants. The internet and his space shop stuff are probably the way he’ll go since the amount of fit back is alot less then the cars. Most processes require evaluation of options, not many options for those that are not garbage a lot of legacy satellite internet companies l. Then he gets departments to start using those services and suck on the revenue till who knows when. Pretty sure if he puts the mandate to use Teslas for everything there are too many good alternatives to guarantee he gets any significant amount of grants.

  20. More corruption from this administration… like pretty much every day since the inauguration.

  21. FloppyVachina on

Hmmmm… I wonder what we could do with 42 billion towards the american people and not in musks pocket… hmmm….

  22. What ever happened to conflict of interest? Did that just fly out the window 🪟??

  23. JapariParkRanger on

Removing the award from Starlink was suspect in the first place, and made no sense.

  24. Redstorm8373 on

All federal contracts held by companies that Musk owns or invests in should be immediately cancelled, and those companies should be ineligible to receive new federal contracts for as long as he remains a special employee of the federal government.

  25. ParkingMusic1969 on

Imagine the day when Musk just cuts off your connection because you made him mad and the government defunded all the other options so you can never get internet.
