If you want to download this with less compression, [I have it here on my website ](https://cosmicbackground.io/pages/crimson-shadows)(linked in the top of the product description, free to download.

For more context- I used 4 telescopes because I wanted to create something high resolution enough to make wall-sized prints, so each component of the image was captured with a telescope optimized for it (stars/color/detail/etc.). The full size image is a whopping 440 megapixels, and is my most complex lunar eclipse photo since I’ve started this hobby.

Wicked cool. Thank you for taking this and sharing this with us. I had an Astronomy professor who would like this very very much. Please keep up with this hobby.

The interesting thing is that is our shadow. Well, the Earth’s penumbra… but we can contribute to it by staying at the “edge” of the planet from the perspective of the Moon.
