Benefits can’t be that low if you can afford to run a car and fund a coke habit?

    2. Should have been a lifetime ban from driving.

Driving is a privilege, not a right, if you show that little regard to the safety of your own child let alone strangers you don’t deserve to get behind the wheel of a car ever again.

To get a 30 month ban she must have been completely off her tits. Shouldn’t be ever allowed to be back on the road with that level of recklessness, especially considering she had kids in the car.

Poor children. They deserve better parents.

Surprised they wouldn’t do anything to the custody

I’m in my mid 30s and people my age still getting wrecked on all sorts is fucking insane to me. Figured it’s something people tend to grow out of in their 20s.

Those poor kids. I have no sympathy for her – and she’s done well to use her kids to avoid jail here, but can you imagine how sad it must be for those kids to be walked to school by responsible parents as their mum is strung out and being citizen arrested by concerned passer bys

We all make silly mistakes but that’s low. She’s not even young at 36 – just useless.

All I can hope is it’s a start of a proper recovery and years of making it up to them. I suspect not…

    8. “A man she was seeing gave her what she thought was a legal high and she drank it and didn’t realise it was GHB”

Taking responsibility, showing remorse and becoming a better person by blaming a man that probably doesn’t exist.

Said words to the effect on here but the general availability of cocaine really has warped civil society.

A driving ban means bugger all to a lot of people unless the vehicle is also confiscated. Still have access to a motor, and the only thing stopping the use is the fear of getting caught. 100% she’ll still be driving about, but just hoping to not get caught.

It not better to lock her up so she can get clean? Kids would obviously be safer!
