I don’t really understand what it means by “polarized”. I’ve seen the original where all you can see is a blurry orange ring. This just makes it look like someone drew artificial lines on it to make it look more dramatic.

Or as we CMDRs call it, the (*) b*tthole of the galaxy. Quite the popular destination although these days I’m happier in the deep black of the disc’s bottom.

Is this a Kerr black hole which Newton’s laws don’t apply no more and Einstein’s general relativity takes over where space time gets twisted and dragged along with the spinning black hole (frame-dragging)? I think it is I have some questions about Kerr black holes
