      As awful as this is for the people who end up living these lies, what is to be done about it?

      Any line undercover officers aren’t allowed to cross will instantly be used by organized criminals as a test to keep them out.

      Gee. I wonder if we’ll get a wildly popular Netflix series about sex by deception by agents of the state. (I’m thinking : probably not. )

      Sorry, but in this day & age and with the vast array of technology, are the police not able to gather enough intelligence on criminals without resorting to this kind of behaviour???

      It sickens me to see that the police have failed to learn their lessons from their behaviour of the 1970’s to 1990’s where the same tactics were used in investigations against animal liberation and the Greenham Common protestors.

      The Judiciary involved in hearing these cases were appalled.

      This reminds me of Robert Henry Freegard who conned several people into believing he was an MI5 agent.
