In collation of the last post on the "maladjustment" Hours of Spain, seeing the incorrect notions of how dawn and sunset occurs based on latitude and length, I wanted to find an illustration like this and I did not find it, so I have generated it myself. There is some artifact in the perimeters of the countries, but fulfills its function.
You can clearly appreciate situations "paradoxical" As during the summer in Iceland dawns before Spain, although the first one is about 15 degrees in length to the west, or that also during the summer in the United Kingdom dawns before and sunset after Spain, although the mental image that people usually have is that here the sun gives more (which is true but for other reasons).

Cada franja es una hora de desfase, en marrón siendo negativo (“ocurre antes que en Madrid”) y en verde positivo (“ocurre después”).
Esto es interesante enseñarlo (buena animación, por cierto), pero viendo que según la estación esta diferencia afecta tanto en un sentido como en otro, no veo cómo cambia la idea del desfase horario.
Cuanto más lejos de los trópicos y más cerca del círculo polar, más horas de luz diarias en verano y menos en invierno. Es horrible ver amanecer a las 4am y que no anochezca hasta las 23h en países donde no hay persianas.
