GD has proposed legislative changes that would allow the banning of political parties if they are deemed similar to previously banned parties. The ruling party initiated these changes amid its threats to ban the currently existing opposition groups.

The United National Movement doesn’t have the grounds or moral right to remain in the opposition, but the fact that they’re referring to everyone in the opposition as “natsebi” is ridiculous, and the fact that they still have support from a large part of the population means that the GD is an absolute failure. This move would make sense in a democratic country because parties like the United National Movement shouldn’t exist, but Georgia is literally authoritarian, run by a guy who has effectively captured the entire country, with everyone in his pocket.

Bidzina runs the country as if it were his garden. It has been 13 years, and they still haven’t defeated the “natsebi.” It is ridiculous. He will not give up power, not even in 2028.

He will only give up power when he knows he is safe with his billions and that his propaganda, which paints him as the father of the nation, has worked.

They look so unhealthy. Like they’re wearing flesh masks over other faces

  5. Realistically it’s all opposition parties, current and future. It’s nothing less than ending democracy in Georgia, if this doesn’t fire up wide support for the protest movement then I can’t think what will.
