It’s the Borg headed back to the 23rd Century after ensuring that humanity never achieves FTL travel.

One thing it’s not, given your mention of being in southern NM, was tonight’s Starlink launch, given that it launched to the SSE from Cape Canaveral.

  2. Probably a falcon 9 second stage doing a debit burn, they typically happen over the central US (have seen multiple in Texas)

Edit: and there was a launch earlier today, this was definitely a stage 2 deorbit.

  3. “what is this?” 95% of the time it’s a Falcon 9 launch. Someone else will share which one exactly here soon I’m sure.

  4. Looks a lot like the separation stage of a rocket launch. This especially happens near dusk or dawn.

  5. I’ve seen a ton of space x falcon 9 reentry pics and videos that look just like this.

  6. I believe this was a Florida Space X launch. I’m surprised you can see this in southern NM. It must be the second stage doing a burn after already orbiting Earth.

Just the carrier dropping off our copy of the paperwork for the new bypass being built. Nothing important.

  9. Saw something similar in North Carolina, year 2010. It came in through a ring then disappeared into another ring. The “rings” warped as it flew in/out. What we saw had more color.

  10. Lol I’m watching UFC 314 and Elon musk is there sitting next to president trump meanwhile his rockets are being launched into space and posted on Reddit. What a time to be alive

Pretty much exactly what it looked like a few weeks ago when I watched the manned SpaceX flight accidentally.

  13. Saw this over dinner here in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Not bright, but definitely visible.

It’s Cooper trying to reach out to you from the bookcase. Cue bone chilling and powerful organ music.

  15. Ok, here me out: the enterprise e just returned to the 24th century after preventing a temporal incident. Watch first contact, yall!
