  1. Where the hell sells chicken from Thailand? Every supermarket harps on the fact that their chicken is 100% British.

  2. SirGrumpsalot2009 on

Nigel Farage – actual proof that a man can survive without a spine or an idea of his own.

  3. Cheap-Comfortable-50 on

then Nigel can eat that shite until his stomach bursts open, I would not even feed that to my pet dogs!

  4. W_4_Vendetta on

You can’t make anyone buy chlorinated chicken, unless of course they reduce labelling ‘accuracy’

  5. Icy-Tear4613 on

He supporters blindly follow him/respect despite him being the worst politician He’s embodies everything we hate from a stereotypical politician But hey he don’t like migrants.

  6. Great so ontop of the country being a mess, we should also lower our food standards to import salmanella infused chicken from America

  7. VictoriouslyAviation on

Here’s the thing. I’ve had the unfortunate impediment to have to visit the US on many occasions. Dislike the place for many reasons.

I had no issues whilst out there eating their beef and chicken.

I don’t want it in the UK thanks. Don’t know why it was okay there and not here and I don’t need to explain it to anyone. I just don’t want it.

  8. “Reform UK leader on campaign trail as poll predicts rightwing party could be on course to win in a general election”

Why is the Graun simping for nasty nige now? The next general election is at least 4 years away – it matters not one iota what opinion polls say now.

  9. MotorProcess9907 on

Feed him this chicken. Let’s see if he will survive. Win win for everyone

  10. atomic_danny on

Sounds like Farage is in the same mindset as Trump – money first, people second, but tell the people he wants to improve the country and blaming immigrants for everything, deflecting people from the fact that he wants to sell the NHS, sell everything British for profit despite what he has said. I’m sure i’ll be jumped on for “saying anything negative about Farage” though…

(I mean not that Labour, Conservatives, UKIP, Liberal Democrats, SNP, Green Party, Elmo and others would be better – they all just want to fight each other and make things better for themselves rather than the country*)

    * = MP Debate for Wage Rises = Full house, MP Debate for any other issue – less than half full towards empty…

  11. Flint_Beastw00d on

He also wants the UK to leave the ECHR, and as we saw with Brexit there’s plenty shit gibbons ready to sacrifice their own rights just so others suffer.

  12. He votes down saving british jobs
He votes down british workers rights
He votes down protections for children
He advocates for a universally hated product that would directly harm British farmers.

REFORM HATE BRITISH VALUES, BRITISH PEOPLE AND BRITISH SOVEREIGNTY!

  13. BountyBobIsBack on

They may import it, but nobody will want to buy it – Supermarkets will then cease to stock it

  14. Brexiteers who are still waiting for the benefits will I’m sure suddenly find many reasons why chlorinated chicken is actually really good, and not a problem and it’s actually pretty woke to want no chlorinated chickens.

  15. Captain_English on

“Have you considered that people will be able to make money from it, and therefore it’s good?”

  16. Purple-Internet6133 on

How this man has survived politics after his lies and propaganda were exposed around Brexit is saddening. Even if you are the most staunch “England for the English” type of person, this man is the one you’re picking to fight your fight?

  17. ChooChooBananaTrain on

Him saying this is not about chlorinated chicken, it’s about him selling out to trumps demands.

  18. So he’s given up on being the great defender of British farming then?

Christ this man would sell his own mother for a box of if it got him an extra vote or two.

  19. Wasn’t he championing farmers not so long ago?

Importing poorer quality food kills UK farms because they can’t complete and will no longer have an export market. The EU will never accept this nonsense.

Doesn’t give a fuck about people, their health or their livelihood. Seems desperate to damage the UK.

  20. Definitely_Human01 on

I don’t understand. There’s no support for chlorinated chicken anywhere.

Food standards are something there’s borderline unanimous support for in the UK.

Even the Tories, desperate as they were for a post Brexit “win”, didn’t give up food standards for a trade deal, because they knew they’d face a rebellion.

I’m sure even a good chunk of reform supporters would be against dropping our food standards.

  21. I’d say let it come in, as I bet the UK consumer palate wont want to eat chlorinated chicken, and they’ll realise there’s no demand for it…

  22. Fuck. That.

Also, if it were to happen, you could always say, well, I’m just not gonna buy that chicken in the supermarket! Win!

Then, you go to yer favourite restaurant who, unbeknownst you, uses it in their meals. You’d have no idea…

Again, Fuck. That. And fuck Farage.

  23. Player_Slayer_7 on

You mean national traitor Nigel Farage is actively advocating for the UK to bend over and take it, after he went so hard to convince us to tell the EU to shove it? It’s almost like he’s a puppet or something.

  24. chilli_con_camera on

Chicken imported from Thailand is often farmed to higher welfare standards than in the UK, [according to the RSPCA](https://www.independent.co.uk/climate-change/news/thai-chicken-better-than-most-british-production-says-rspca-2124580.html).

US chicken washed in chlorine has [the same risk from harmful bacteria](https://www.which.co.uk/news/article/chlorine-washed-chicken-vs-chlorine-washed-salad-leaves-whats-the-difference-aMipZ5W3EtGW) as chicken farmed in the UK. All washing in chlorine does is hide poor welfare and hygiene standards in US chicken production.

Salad that’s sold as ready-washed is washed in chlorine to destroy soil-borne bacteria, not because lettuce is farmed so intensively that it’s inherently unhygienic, lol.

    >once those basics have been accepted I’ll have a debate with you

I’d happily debate Nigel Farage, it’s not hard to expose him here.

  25. CastleofWamdue on

and yet I know farmers near me with Reform posters, and if its not Reform they actively promote how much they had Labour

  26. thedarkknight787 on

Yeah coz he’ll never have to it eat that’s why.

Also he doesn’t give a fuck about anyone !

  27. LamentableCroissant on

One that is an endless source of surprise with this man, is how far he is willing and able to pull his arse cheeks apart for others.

  28. I fucking hate that argument, just because it’s being done already doesn’t mean we need more of it.

  29. Total-Extension-7479 on

would somebody tell that creature to park his trap in mute and keep it there!?

  30. Shawn_The_Sheep777 on

Just because the British media seem to love him doesn’t make him any less of a muppet

  31. Plantain-Feeling on

Farage hasn’t shown up to about 80% of votes as an MP

the few he has bothered to show up for were to damage the country

I don’t think his opinion is worth even putting on paper

  32. Of course he does. Isn’t it amazing to be alive at the same time as some of the worst human beings who have ever lived?

  33. D_Substance_X on

Can we trade Farage? He’s worthless so we wouldn’t seek anything in return. Sure would improve the UK if he just stopped being part of it, though.

  34. NeitherBag4722 on

Who cares what he thinks and why are the media still giving him column inches?

  35. The guy is an agent of a foreign power. Surprised he hasn’t been arrested and charged with treason.

  36. Afraid_Jelly2891 on

I have strong opinions on this man, what was UKIP, now Reform, and the idiocy that was Brexit. Suffice to say I’m too tired to write it all out again.

I hope this arsehole never stops stubbing his toe.

  37. I find it interesting that outside of the superpowers, nationalist politicians just want complete subservience to a bigger country.

  38. Kindly-Ad-8573 on

As long as its well labeled so we can all then decide to not buy it. If its insidiously just mixed into the food chain with no labeling, remember your local butcher for buying local produce.
