Oh that poor boy. What a horrific way to die, essentially being killed by the person you probably trust the most.
The grandfather needs to be punished for not calling the police and stepping up. The mother may have committed the actions but he didn’t do anything to stop it.
This is such a tragic story. It feels like every other week there’s stories about people like this who are so horrendously ill.

I don’t understand how or why her father left the child alone with her when she was clearly, immediately murderously insane.
I brought this up in a group chat and you know what someone said? That violent crimes are still more likely to be committed by a man… it’s like some people are incapable of seeing that woman can be terrible as well

Omg this is horrifying. I can’t imagine any sane mother doing this. she really is not on a sound state of mind. poor baby, to be in such pain and die a horrible death at the hands of your own mother.
Even if she’d been reported to social services before hand, they wouldn’t even attend, make a quick call to school, wash thier hands and close the case.
If her father only called the police after the attacks!
